I am squeezing in an hour here and there when I can on Blood of My Blood, but today I bring you a funny anecdote about the making of the Blood (a.k.a. BoMB) title vid, above.

You hear that amazing drip sound effect? I made it myself. I couldn’t find something like it for free online without signing up for some website. But then it struck me like a teenage action movie character—I can do this.

Do you remember that trick from elementary school for making a sound like a drip of water?

Yyyyyep! That is exactly how I made that sound effect for the short Blood clip, and recorded it with my phone. We are a bootstrap operation here at Zeno’s Arrow.

And we thought those childhood skills were useless.

Just think, one day your ear wiggling/weird tongue shapes/one-handed clapping will come back to save the day.
