It’s always funny to me watching that last little segment of donut or sliver of cake just sit and sit and sit for hours in the break room. Not just because no one wants to be the one to take the last piece, but because people gradually whittle down the last piece by taking smaller and smaller cuts.
(And in case you’re not familiar with it, something’s “half-life” is how long it takes for it to decay to half of its starting amount. Science joke!)
